High school student Miyu Otomo has become the first woman champion at the All The japanese High School Esports Championship.


In the competition, Otomo and her group competed in the game of “ League of Legends, ” a popular multiplayer online fight arena (MOBA) title.


Using the handle ShakeSpeare, the talented 17-year-old game player won the top prize along with her teammates from N High School in Okinawa. N High School is an online senior high school for students planning to turn out to be video game creators, computer developers, writers, and anime suppliers,   Soranews24   reports.


Otomo, a high school sophomore originally from Saitama, apparently transferred to the specialized college specifically to become a better LoL player.


 


It turns out the school has an expert gamer who teaches classes at an extracurricular club.


Otomo’s groundbreaking earn in a national tournament is really a rarity in a field dominated by male players. Depending on a recent survey, only 30% of Japanese gamers are woman. Now, many are expecting Otomo to serve as inspiration just for young girls with a passion regarding competitive gaming.

One of Otomo’s motivations to succeed is to show that female gamers are simply as good, or better, compared to male players.


“I really wanted to win. I wanted to make sure individuals didn’t write me off just for being a woman, ”   she has been quoted as saying.


“2019 was the year that changed my life. We wasn’t sure if I would certainly succeed or not, but I am glad I did the things that I desired to do. ”


Since her triumph, she has attracted many followers online who were not only amazed at her MOBA skills but additionally by her beauty.


 Sophomore high school student Miyu Otomo recently became the first female champion at the All Japan High School Esports Championship.


Otomo can also be an aspiring model who has participated within multiple events showcasing the girl modeling skills. Last year, Otomo was a finalist in the senior high school beauty pageant Miss JK Contest. Her biggest work as a model was whenever she walked in the Tokyo Girls Collection, an event visited by 2, 500 individuals.


Social media customers were quick to supplement her looks, frequently evaluating her to Japanese ideal group members.
