Authorities arrested the mother from Calgary right after she was allegedly observed assaulting her 14-month-old kid while livestreaming herself actively playing Fortnite,   CBC News reported .

The mother"s Twitch account — an online livestreaming service — showed the girl slapping and biting the kid repeatedly, apparently upset the toddler was distracting the girl from playing the game. A long time later she is again observed handling a different child inside a rough manner, throwing them down onto the bed that will she is sitting on.

Police say they will received several reports through places as far away because California regarding the video, and Tuesday, the Calgary Law enforcement Service Child Abuse Device started investigating the occurrence.

 Based on CBC News , the particular user"s Twitch account, which isn't named for the protection in regards to her children, appears to have been deleted, yet a copy of the video clip was posted on Tweets Monday.

Inside two hours of looking at the video, police were able to locate the mother"s location plus enter her residence exactly where they found her and also a man and two young kids. The 31-year-old mother has been then arrested while the kids were taken to a secure location.

Siegenthaler confirmed that this mother has been so far billed with one count associated with assault for her handling from the younger of the two kids. Her court date is placed for Jan. 17.
